We want you to have the best possible experience while at The Healing Place. So we have put together a little something to help with some unknowns that come with visiting a new place. You can expect the following when you choose to attend an On-Campus Gathering at The Healing Place.
Our On-Campus Gathering begins at 10 AM each Sunday, but we encourage everyone to come and participate in the community that takes place beforehand. When you arrive on campus, you may see a few serve team members ready to welcome you and direct you as needed. Whether you enter through our main entrance or our covered South entrance, you’ll receive a warm greeting from our hospitality team. They can provide helpful information such as; Sanctuary location and child check-in information. First-time guests will receive a gift from us to you. We ask that you fill out the connect card and turn it into one of our serve team members.
Our Sunday Gatherings generally last about an hour and a half. We begin with a time of worship through song. Children learn to worship the Lord by seeing others. So, we encourage all family members, ages three and up, to worship together in the Sanctuary during this time. Following a time of worshiping together, those with children ages 3 – 11 can check them into thpKids using the Kids Check-in Stations. As adults return to the Sanctuary, you can expect to hear a bible centered message from one of our pastors or guest speakers designed to help you grow and take your next step in Him.
As the gathering comes to an end, everyone is invited to stick around a bit and take part in the community that takes place all over campus. Take your time and visit with people here on campus. We do ask that those with children pick them up from thpKids before hanging out with others. If you’re a first-time guest, please visit our hospitality table, located in the back of the Sanctuary. There you will find ways to connect, find more information about the church, and find out how you can take your next step.
Below are a few frequently asked questions, but we invite you to visit our “Learn More” page for more information about The Healing Place.
The culture at THP could best be described as a family and place where all have an opportunity to experience the love of God. We desire to be in the presence of God and the presence of God’s people.
We have no standardized dress code for attending The Healing Place. We are told to come to the Lord as we are. While we do ask that you dress modestly, we have people who attend wearing everything from shorts and flip-flops to slacks and jackets.
We have fantastic opportunities for infants to 5th grader designed with children and parents in mind. If you’d like to know more information about our kids’ ministry please visit our thpKids page.
